Henriette! -He smiled charmingly- You do look lovely, if not entirely finished…. if I may? -He walked around the large pram and gestured to tie the ribbon for her-
What? Oh… Oh! Of course! -She laughed and turned her back to him while she attempted one last time to tie a bow herself, before giving up again.- I usually have one of my maids help me, but today is an off day for the staff. I fear I would have run around looking silly all day…
-He tied her bow for her, smiling- I must say, you look expesically beautiful today, my dear. Even on your bad days, you outshine most modern women. It seems beauty was last truly alive when you were from….
-She turned around to face him again and smiled back, blushing brightly as she absently patted her hair.- Such flattery! You are too kind with your compliments, Signore. But I… I thank you.

Carla Bruni - Quelqu’un m’a dit (Someone Told Me)
I’m told that fate makes fun of us,
That it gives us nothing and promises everything,
When happiness seems to be within our reach,
We reach out and find ourselves like fools.
Yet someone told me…
That you still loved me
Someone told me…
That you still loved me.
Well ? Could that be possible?

-Gilderoy knocked on the door- Henriette? It's Gilderoy, may I come in? I've brought my children along!
-Henriette stood with her back turned to the floor length mirror in the her bedroom, struggling to tie a ribbon around her waist into a bow at her back. Upon hearing the knock from downstairs, and remembering that it was an off day for her staff, Henriette let the fabric hang free and quickly rushed from the room and down the stairs to the front door of her home.- I’m here! Forgive me, I am on my own today and I am not entirely, properly decent… -When she opened the door, she smiled and sighed with utter relief at the face she found staring back at her.- Gilderoy!
-He looked at her for a moment.- Don't move. -He bent down and wrapped his arm around her leg. His hand glowed for a moment around her ankle then subsided.- Okay. -He stood up and grinned.- Now we can go. -He held his hand out and wiggled his fingers.-
Doctor, I promise you, I am alright. You don’t have to…. -She gasped when she saw his hand start to glow, the pain in her leg fading in time with it.- That light… Is that not your healing energy? Why would you waste something so precious on me? On such a small, meaningless injury? -She reached over and lightly swatted his arm-
-He grinned when she returned but when she tripped, he looked alarmed.- Oh, god. Are you okay?! -He helped her to her feet.- It's okay as long as you're okay.
Yes, I am alright. I didn’t mean to alarm you. -She held onto his hand and slowly steadied herself. When she stood up straight again, she winced in pain.- Left ankle is a bit sore now, if I am to be honest, but I can bear it. We can still go!
