My darling Henriette~ I have missed you so.
Dearest Irene. I have missed you terribly! It has been far too long since last I saw you. Are you well?
It has felt like ages~ I am very well, my dear. How have you been?
Terribly restless… I have always been as such. I forever have a need to be away, to travel this world, and especially on my own. But the desire has become far stronger in these last months. It makes me wonder if I am not merely traveling for the joy of it anymore, but for… other reasons. I ran away once before. Perhaps I am doing the same again. I never know what I truly want, I don’t know how to act when I get it… Perhaps that’s it.

[there was a slow smile on his lips as he dropped to a low bow] Hayden Wren at your service..
“It is a pleasure to meet you, Monsieur.” Henriette smiled sweetly at him in return and bowed her head in greeting. “My name is Henriette… Henriette Marianne Del Bitasse. Perhaps… you have heard of me?”

Cashmere shawls were prized imports from India during the late 18th century. British manufacturers soon began making shawls in similar styles. Not only were they worn with the newly fashionable Neo-classical gowns, the shawls were also made into gowns. In this example of the late 1790s, the shawl was cut in half and then sewn together to form the front and back of the gown. Sleeves of cream satin and a collar and over-sleeves of green silk fabric were then added. The waistline is very high, sitting just below the bust line.
